НЕДЕЉУ 17-ог ДЕЦЕМБРА 2017, У 5 ЧАСОВА ПОПОДНЕ.У ПРОСТОРИЈАМА СРПСКЕ НАРОДНЕ ОДБРАНЕ ОДРЖАЋЕ СЕ ПРЕЗЕНТАЦИЈА О ПРОЈЕКТУ ДОКУМЕНТАРНОГ ФИЛМА И ТВ СЕРИЈЕ О ИСТОРИЈИ СРПСКЕ ЕМИГРАЦИЈЕ У СЕВЕРНОЈ АМЕРИЦИ.
СНО сматра да је важност овог пројекта за српски народ у дијаспори и у Србији неоспорна, колико у културном и историјском, толико и у политичком смислу. Будући да ће се документарни филм и серија Историја српске емиграције у Северној Америци приказивати и на америчкој, канадској, на РТС телевизији као и на Сателитском Програму РТСа који се гледа у свим земљама света где живе Срби, ми верујемо да ће овај филм у многоме подићи углед како српског народа који живи у дијаспори тако и српској нацији генерално. Гледаоци ће имати прилику да виде колико је људи и жена српске националности допринело изградњи и угледу земаља у којима су живели и још увек живе и граде. Током презентације биће приказан трејлер и одломци из серије.
The History of Serbian Immigrants in North America
ON SUNDAY, DECEMBER 17TH 2007, AT 5 PM. YOU ARE INVITED TO ATTEND A PRESENTATION OF A DOCUMENTARY TV SERIES PROJECT TITLED ‘THE HISTORY OF SERBIAN IMMIGRATION IN NORTH AMERICA”.
SNO think the importance of this project for the Serbian people in the Diaspora and in Serbia is unquestionable in cultural, historical as well as in a political sense. We believe that after our documentary TV series, about The History of Serbian Immigration in North America, will be broadcast on American, Canadian as well as on the Serbian National Television and the Satellite Network in all the countries where the Serbian people live, the series will contribute and help to restore a good part of the Serbian people’s image and reputation. The viewers will have an opportunity to see how many men and women of Serbian nationality contributed to build the reputation of America, the country in which they lived and still live and build. The trailer and a few segments will be projected at the presentation.

The Serb National Federation is pleased to recommend you to watch online the outstanding theatre performance Two Women and One War with Serbian actresses Marija Bergam and Vera Mujović in the leading roles. The performance describes the friendship between the Serbian and American people through the love story of two women who are forgotten heroines of the Great War.
One is an American woman, Mabel Grujić, who is married to Serbian diplomat Slavko Grujić. Another is a Serbian woman, Jelena Lozanić, married to the Serbian people’s most generous American benefactor, John Frothingham. They both have two homelands: Serbia and the United States.
In this play, you can discover why Mabel Grujić was nicknamed the Serbian Jovanka Orleanka; how many woolen socks for Serbian soldiers at the front were knitted by rich American women from high society; and who adopted 600 children in one day.
Mabel, along with Mihajlo I. Pupin, built homes for Serbian orphans and mobilized American physicians to come to Serbia and help their colleagues.
Jelena Lozanić, Representative of the Yugoslav Red Cross from 1915 to 1920, had a great humanitarian mission to the United States to collect funds for the Serbian Army and people. She met her greatest love, John Frothingham. He donated to Serbia in value almost four Serbian national budgets from 1915.
Jelena Kajgo wrote the text of the play, and the director is Alek Conic.
The performance is with English subtitles.

Srpska Narodna Odbrana, proslaviće svoju krsnu slavu na Vidovdan, 27.juna u manastiru Nova Gračanica kraj Čikaga, tradicionalnom Vidovdanskom akademijom, sa početkom u 1h. Specijalni gost profesor doktor Višeslav Simić. Predavanju i skupu ce predhoditi liturgija koju će služiti vladika Longin.
HUMANITARNO VEČE ZA POMOĆ JUNACIMA SA KOŠARA
Pre 22 godine junaci sa granične karaule Košare odbranili su čast svog poziva i otadžbine. Poginulo ih je 108 a oni koji su preživeli su u teškom materijalnom položaju. Srpska Narodna Odbrana želi da im pomogne i tim povodom poziva sve ljude dobre volje da dodju na Humanitarno veče.
