THE SERB NATIONAL FEDERATION IS PROUD TO SPONSOR THE ONLINE SERBIAN PLAY TWO WOMEN AND ONE WAR WITH ENGLISH SUBTITLES
The Serb National Federation is pleased to recommend you to watch online the outstanding theatre performance Two Women and One War with Serbian actresses Marija Bergam and Vera Mujović in the leading roles. The performance describes the friendship between the Serbian and American people through the love story of two women who are forgotten heroines of the Great War.
One is an American woman, Mabel Grujić, who is married to Serbian diplomat Slavko Grujić. Another is a Serbian woman, Jelena Lozanić, married to the Serbian people’s most generous American benefactor, John Frothingham. They both have two homelands: Serbia and the United States.
In this play, you can discover why Mabel Grujić was nicknamed the Serbian Jovanka Orleanka; how many woolen socks for Serbian soldiers at the front were knitted by rich American women from high society; and who adopted 600 children in one day.
Mabel, along with Mihajlo I. Pupin, built homes for Serbian orphans and mobilized American physicians to come to Serbia and help their colleagues.
Jelena Lozanić, Representative of the Yugoslav Red Cross from 1915 to 1920, had a great humanitarian mission to the United States to collect funds for the Serbian Army and people. She met her greatest love, John Frothingham. He donated to Serbia in value almost four Serbian national budgets from 1915.
Jelena Kajgo wrote the text of the play, and the director is Alek Conic.
The performance is with English subtitles.
By buying an online ticket for the play Two Women and One War, you can also watch another famous theatre play for free, Little Black Dress. The performance is about the life of the renowned fashion icon Coco Chanel played by some of the greatest Serbian actresses Rada Djuričin and Vjera Mujović.

Daje se na znanje, organizovali smo radionicu za nase malisane!
Igre i trke za svaki uzrast, spustimo telefone da nam vreme s’decom ne ode u propast!
Svaki sport bio on u prirodi, na igralistu, u dvoristu, gradi duh i telo, jaca imunitet, i poboljsava kondiciju. U sportu se ravnomerno razvija celo telo, razvija se motorika, ravnoteza, osjecaj za prostor, a i apstraktno misljenje i logika. Sem toga, dete otkriva svoje sposobnosti i unapredjuje svoje vestine. Na taj nacin dete gradi svoju licnost, stice samopostovanje i uci se samostalnosti i odgovornosti.
Takodje, kroz sport deca grade veze izmedju sebe. Bio sport induvidualan ili timski, deca se vrlo brzo upoznaju, pocnu da uvazavaju jedni druge i medjusobno se podrzavaju i podsticu.
Takve veze ostaju za ceo zivot!
Sa tim, pozivamo svu decu da ucestvuju u radionicu “Dani mog detinjstva” 18. Marta sa pocetkom u 17:00h, gdje ce moci da se takmice sa drustvom u razne igre kao relej (stafeta), preskakanja prepreka i prolaz kroz razne sprave. Svaka trka ce biti prilagodjena uzrast takmicara. Prvi sat vremena je odvojen posebno za djecu uzrast do 5 godina. Svi su dobro dosli cijelo vece ali u 18:00h pocinjemo da odvajamo svu decu u relej ekipe gdje ce oni medjusobno izabrati kapetana i ime njihovog tima. Takmicarski duh takodje ispliva. On u deci budi ambiciju, ali ih i uci kako da podnesu pobedu ili poraz.
Nase misljenje je da je sav uspijeh u to sto smo odvojili, barem na jedno vece, decu od telefona ili tv-a i pokrenili njihvu mastu…Sto su upravo bili “Dani mog detinjstva!”
